To provide social interaction with residents.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Should have the ability to work independently.
- Ability to carry conversation.
- Ability to assess needs and offer activities that are suitable to the resident (Example- read, play cards, go for walk etc.)

Qualification and personal qualities required:
- Friendly, outgoing
- Able to carry conversation
- Able to approach residents independently.
- Patient, tactful, polite and flexible.
- Should feel comfortable being alone with residents.
Training/Orientation Provided:
- General volunteer training/orientation
- Initial orientation with assigned resident
- Ongoing orientation and traiining within the home.
