To asssit with food preparation that will lead to kitchen experience.
Resonsibilties:
- Chop vegetables
- Cut and portion dessert.
- Prepare dishes and pots for washing.
- Put away groceries.
- Clean kitchen equipment.
Cimmitment required: Weekly basis
Qualification and personal qualities required:
- Friendly, outgoing.
- Able to approach residents independently.
- Patient, tactful, polite and flexible.
- Should feel comfortable being alone with residents.
Training/Orientation Provided:
- General volunteer tarining/orientation
- Watch video "Hands that Feed"
- Initial orientation with assigned resident
- Ongoing orientation and tarining within the home.
