We are looking for pet owners who are interested in visiting individuals with their animal. The animal must be friendly, have record of their vaccinations, as well as ok with touching, noise, and lots of people. We ask that our volunteers have a TB test done, a police check done (if you are over 18), as well you and your pet coming in for an orientation. Carlingview Manor /
We are a 303 bed long term care home to individuals with a variety of disabilities and abilities. We have a number group and individual activities that are implemented from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. We host a lot of large events with special foods and live entertainment as well as smaller more quaint events that are specialized and individualized. We offer complementary therapies such as comfort care, Snoezelen, pastoral care, and palliative care. Due to the size of our facility we have an extensive amount of volunteer opportunities for all interests, ages, nationalities, and the person who has the gift of unhurried time.
