Volunteer Directors are vital to the non-profit sector in Canada. Non-profits want your guidance and insight, and in return, you get the chance to help lead a cause you care about and hone your leadership skills.
But how to get started?
This new self-paced online course, developed by Volunteer Ottawa, covers both the foundational knowledge and the extra insights you need to succeed as a volunteer Director. Available in English or French, this course was created in consultation with subject-matter experts and is specific to the Canadian non-profit landscape. Comprised of 2 modules with 30 lessons each, this course allows you to start whenever you like and learn at your own pace.
Perfect for Professional Development
Many professionals, including CPAs, are required to complete annual training to maintain their designations. This self-paced course with supplementary material offers 10 hours of content (lessons and supplementary material), including 2 hours focused on ethics.
You will receive a certificate on completion and have ongoing access to the content for future reference.
