Circles of Support and Accountability - Ottawa

About Organization
Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA)'s objectives are two-fold: No more victims and No one is disposable. CoSA is a Canada-wide community-based reintegration program, based on restorative justice principles, for people who have been incarcerated for committing sexual offences and are returning to the community typically after serving their entire sentence. These people, who we refer to as Core Members, participate in the program voluntarily and are committed to leading an offence-free life. Trained and screened volunteers meet regularly (for a minimum period of one year) with their core member, helping with reintegration issues, and challenging problematic behaviour that may lead to reoffending. CoSA-Ottawa operates on a non-sectarian basis and welcomes all.
