Harmer House is a non-profit, independent living, apartment building. We have volunteers in the front office during the weekdays and to drive the van on Sundays, to church and during the week for other activities. The Outreach Adult Day Program is a social recreational program designed to optimize an individual's functional abilities and level of independence, meanwhile enabling them to remain in their home and community as long as possible. The program operates out of Harmer House, a complex, which provides a bright, safe and secure environment for all participants. We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to drive the Harmer House van to transport our client to and from the Program. We also need volunteers to help in the dining room and to assist many other general tasks.
