We envision a world where the girls and women of Longido District, Tanzania have equal access to education and economic opportunities. We support our community-based partners to deliver programmes that provide fair and equitable access to education and economic opportunity in Longido District, Tanzania. We have been working in Northern Tanzania for more than 17 years supporting girls secondary education, educational enrichment programs, a community learning centre and a micro-finance program. The result has been a dramatic increase in the belief of the value of education, more girls going to secondary school and as a result not being married at a very young age. The micro-finance program has enabled many women to start a small business and support themselves and their families.
