Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society - Ottawa Valley chapter

About Organization
The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is Canada's voice for public wilderness protection. We're working to keep at least half of Canada's public land and water wild - forever. Campaigns of the Ottawa Valley Chapter include protecting Gatineau Park and the Greenbelt, establishing new protected areas including large protected areas along western Quebec's Dumoine, Noire and Coulonge Rivers. We also work to connect people and communities to nature through education programs like the Canadian Wilderness Stewardship Program.
