About your facilitator
Laura Lafantaisie is a Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice Care Ottawa(HCO) based out of the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata. Laura has been working managing volunteers for the last 22 years including at HCO, Canadian Cancer Society and CPAWS and she believes that working with volunteers is the best job in the world. Laura, her colleagues, and the 450 volunteers that participate in HCO’s programs were awarded the 2023 VOscar for Outstanding Volunteer Program.
