This Winter and Spring, Volunteer Ottawa will offer a new learning path. This time our sequence of workshops and communities of practice will be aimed at supporting Leaders of Volunteers in their roles. Through this series of learning opportunities, Volunteer Ottawa, in partnership with members of Ottawa Leaders of Volunteers, aims at strengthening the local not-for-profit sector to welcome volunteers with excellence.  

Priority registrations are now open to join the entire Learning Path (see calendar below). Individuals working or volunteering with VO member organizations can sign up now at no additional cost.  To register, please log in to your Volunteer Ottawa account, return to this page and click on the “Join” button.

You can still join the entire Learning Path even if you can’t attend some individual workshops; in this case, please consider having a colleague attend those sessions.

Learning Path workshops meet on Thursdays from 9:30 am until 11:30, unless noted.

June 08th: Workshop 7: Discipline and dismissal: Leading with Care in our Communities.

June 15th: Workshop 8: Recognition and Retention: Celebrating and cementing community 

June 22nd: Community of practice 3
