This panel will bring together volunteers from diverse backgrounds and age groups to showcase the unique perspectives each can bring to your organisation. This panel will provide insights to help volunteer managers engage and recruit individuals from these groups more effectively.

Staff leading volunteers, volunteers leading other volunteers, and generalist staff working with volunteers.
What to bring?

About your facilitator
Amy VanTorre is Volunteer Ottawa’s Director of Community Relations, where she uses her background in tech, marketing, graphic design, and writing to power many of VO’s projects. Her passion for communication extends to teaching, especially on subjects of art and technology. Amy holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts and graduated in the top of her class from Algonquin College’s Marketing program.
