Social media is a powerful digital tool with unparalleled potential. The benefit to these platforms is that they are free to use, the only barrier is knowing how to use them effectively – which is key to leveraging all that they have to offer for your non-profit. With an endless sea of options out there making it difficult to determine which platforms are the best fit for your organization. This expert-led workshop shares what you need to know to harness all that social media has to offer while maintaining a consistent and cohesive brand experience.

Learning Objectives

Learners participating in this workshop will:

  • Become familiar with various social media platforms, their audiences and use cases for your non-profit
  • Learn key terminology and practices for social media account management
  • Be acquainted with the tools you need to best leverage the platforms that are a fit for your brand
  • Be introduced to the processes you need in place to maintain your non-profit’s social media accounts

Who should attend?

  • Not-for-profit paid staff (generalist and specialist) and volunteer staff working in communications, and/or social media management.
  • Managers and leaders interested in how to more effectively leverage their organization’s social media.
