ABOUT
The VOscars Gala is the highlight of the year for the city’s volunteers and not-for-profits. The event celebrates Ottawa’s vibrant volunteer community and gives special recognition to the individuals, organizations, and businesses that have made a difference in the community. Come celebrate the helpers with us and enjoy live entertainment from Duo Pleiades, a multi-course meal from Preston Event Centre, and of course — the awards ceremony itself!
The 2024 VOscars Awards Gala will start at 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 24 at the Preston Event Centre, 523 St Anthony St, Ottawa. Winners will be announced live during the Gala.
Tickets are $150 each. Purchasers will receive a $50 charitable donation receipt.

Unable to attend the VOscars this year? You can support VO and Ottawa’s volunteers by donating a ticket! Donated tickets will be offered to local non-profits and charities to allow their staff and volunteers to join the celebration. - Getting your ticket: Once your ticket purchase is complete you will receive an individually-numbered digital ticket via email; bring this number with you to the event in order to be seated. If you purchase a ticket for someone else, please reply to the ticket email and provide us with their name for our registration list.
- Allergies: When you receive your ticket by email, please reply with any specific allergies, food intolerances, or other restrictions.
- Accessibility: An elevator entrance is available and washrooms are fully accessible.
- Dress code: At the VOscars, we’d like you to have the freedom to express your style. Feel free to wear what makes you feel confident and fabulously fancy. It’s your night to shine, so come dressed in your celebration clothes of choice!
- Tax rceipt: Your ticket purchase will be eligible for a $50 tax receipt.
- Refunds: No refunds will be issued within 10 days of the event.
