Volunteers are essential for the delivery of programs and services for various not-for-profit organizations serving our communities. As many organizations need volunteers to meet their communities’ demands, attracting new volunteers from the community and welcoming into your organization has renewed importance for programs all across the Ottawa region.

This workshop will take you through the ins and outs of volunteer recruitment: from developing good volunteer position descriptions to identifying motivation, getting your message out in the community, and building transparent volunteer application processes.
