Engaging with journalists and the media can be essential in spreading the word about the good your organization does in the community — but if you’ve never done it before, the very idea of calling a journalist might make you lose sleep! And what about actually doing the interview? What will you say and how will you prepare for difficult questions?
Volunteer Ottawa is collaborating with Heather Badenoch of Village PR to bring you this timely and important workshop focusing on how to engage with journalists and the media.
Who should attend?
Executive directors, board chairs, communications specialists, and generalist NFP staff.
