Recruit Volunteers as an Ottawa Sport Council Member
Ottawa Sport Council (OSC) members can now recruit volunteers online with the new Ottawa Sport Council Volunteer Portal, created in partnership with Volunteer Ottawa (VO). Keep reading to learn more about using the Portal to recruit volunteers.
How it Works
Members of Ottawa Sport Council can sign up with Volunteer Ottawa to post their volunteer opportunities! Volunteer Opportunities from OSC members will appear both on the OSC portal and the main VO volunteer search page.
Any group with an annual revenue under $75,000 is eligible for free membership with VO. Organizations with more than $75,000 in revenue will need to sign up at the correct membership tier for their revenue category. Learn more and sign up on the Membership page:
OSC Volunteer Toolbox
Thanks to funding from the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund, the Ottawa Sport Council has developed this toolbox containing resources for all community sport organizations to support their volunteer requirements.
