The Abbotsford Boutique is an ongoing fundraising initiative of Abbotsford Seniors Centre at The Glebe Centre. All proceeds raised from the boutique go directly back into the program costs to ensure that the fees for members and clients remain minimal.

Volunteers in this role
-Support and engage with clients, members and visitors of Abbotsford to view items in the boutique while having a positive experience.
-Support to sort and price clothing and accessory items that are donated to Abbotsford

Time Commitment
Monday Mornings 9am-12:30pm
Monday Afternoons 12:30pm-4pm

Tuesday-Friday morning shift options available but priority will be given to those available for Mondays.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will gain an understanding of fundraising efforts needed of Non-profit charitable organizations. Volunteers will gain valuable experience supporting community members of varying ages and abilities through a positive customer service experience.
How will the organization benefit?
Volunteer support in our Boutique has a positive experience on our fundraising efforts. Through the time donation of our volunteers we are able to ensure that programs/ services offered by Abbotsford remain affordable for all who rely on the programs.
Volunteer location:
950 Bank Street Please note that we have no on site parking. There is street parking available in the neighborhood at no cost. Volunteers are encouraged to utilize OC transpo routes 6 and 7 or active transportation. Pay per use parking is available in the neighborhood but is the responsibility of the volunteer to pay for if they would like to utilize this option.
