Description

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers interested in assisting with programs and activities for our long-term care residents. Activities can include crafts, physical games, bingo, special events, etc. Volunteers are welcome to suggest their own activity ideas as well! Staff will be present and active at all programs and activities.

Two-step TB test and vulnerable sector check is required for all long-term care volunteers.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop connections, gain experience in a long-term care environment and find purpose in brightening the day of residents.
How will the organization benefit?
The residents of Medex will benefit from having more accommodation at activities to better participate.
