How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
As a volunteer at Christie Lake Kids, you will join a lively and caring community, develop relationships with like-minded individuals, enjoy the opportunity to be a positive influence in the lives of children, and contribute to making your community more joyful and equitable. Volunteer cooks will help serve meals to young adults from low-income families in a safe space where they can develop their leadership skills, build their confidence, and plan for the future! We will provide you with orientation and training, including the optional trainings offered to all CLK volunteers such as High Five, mental health, anti-racism, and more.
How will the organization benefit?
We are a volunteer-driven organization that provides low-income families with support and access to high-quality programs that all children deserve.
