Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Afterschool Tutors for Mathematics and French to volunteer their time to help students improve their academic skills and achieve their educational goals. Your guidance will play a crucial role in the academic success and personal development of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Mathematics and/or French to students.
Assist students with homework, assignments, and test preparation.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and support to help them improve.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Collaborate with program coordinators and other tutors to ensure the effectiveness of the tutoring program.
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in Mathematics and/or French, with a strong understanding of the subject matter.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
A background check may be required.
