Description
Porter residents to and from the onsite Audiology Clinic. Tuesday mornings 9:30am – 11:30am &/or afternoons 1:30pm – 4:00pm; Wednesday mornings 9:30am – 11:30am &/or afternoons 1:30pm – 4:00pm; and Thursday afternoons 1:30pm – 4:00pm;
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer will gain experience working with seniors in a long term care setting. In addition, you will gain knowledge and training in Health & Safety, opportunities to develop skills that are relevant to working in the Health Care sector.
It is also a chance to meet new people and create new friendships.
How will the organization benefit?
Residents will be able to attend appointments and nursing staff can focus on resident care on the units.
