Le programme de jour pour adultes Joie de vivre est ouvert aux personnes de tous âges ayant reçu un diagnostic de déficience cognitive légère, de démence ou de maladie d’Alzheimer. Le programme se déroule au premier étage de la Résidence Saint Louis.
 Aider à servir les collations, café, diner, etc.;
 Accueillir les clients lors de leur arrivée au programme;
 Aider les clients à mettre leurs bottes et leur manteau, selon le cas;
 Aider l’animatrice du programme à mener les activités (ex. ramasser les sacs de sable, compter les points, donner des indices aux clients qui participent à des jeux de mots, accompagner les clients lors des marches, jaser avec les clients).
LES CANDIDATS QUALIFIÉS DEVRONT :
 Parler FRANÇAIS et être capables de converser en anglais;
 Travailler sous supervision minimale et au sein d’une équipe;
 Être autonomes, prêts à prendre des initiatives et avoir le souci du détail;
 S’engager à respecter les valeurs de Bruyère : respect, compassion, apprentissage, collaboration et responsabilité;
 Avoir une apparence soignée et un comportement amical;
 Être fiables et ponctuels;

The Joie de Vivre Adult Day Program is open to individuals of all ages with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment, dementia, or Alzheimer’s. The program is located on the first floor of Residence Saint-Louis.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Help serve snacks, coffee, lunch, etc.
 Welcome participants arriving for the program.
 Help clients put on their boots/coats as needed.
 Assist program facilitator with activities (e.g., collecting sandbags, counting points, giving clues to participants during word games, keeping them company during walks, and chatting with them).
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL:
 Speak FRENCH and conversational English.
 Work with little supervision and as part of a team.
 Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented.
 Commit to the values of Bruyère: respect, compassion, learning, collaboration, and
responsibility.
 Present a professional appearance and a friendly manner.
 Be dependable and punctual.
 Be courteous and personable when dealing with the residents and their family.
