How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers are a huge support in helping Bgc Ottawa raise funds for after school programs for youth ages 6-18. Volunteers are directly helping the clubhouses reach over 2500 youth annually to provide snacks, homework support and leadership, art and physical activity programs. Assisting with this event is also a great way to network with others in the not for profit sector.
How will the organization benefit?
This event supports our 7 clubhouses across the city and our Camp Smitty summer program to be able to deliver high quality programs in a safe and supportive environment for children and youth from across the city to attend.
