As a Donation Intake volunteer you will review the incoming requests for donation pick-ups or drop-offs, determine if the donation is suitable for HWF and assist in scheduling pick-ups.
At this point, we have a specific need for volunteers who are fluent in French.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions (for acceptability of donations)
Good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Good computer skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to work in a team
Access to a phone
Access to a computer or laptop
Familiarity with Google suite ( especially google sheets & google drive)

HWF relies on donations from the community to allow us to support our clients. Your role as a donation intake volunteer is the link between members of the community who want to donate items and HWF. You perform a quality assurance function to make sure the organization is accepting donations that can be used.
