Description

We are seeking to engage persons who are interested in Seniors housing in a venture to create a housing option for seniors along the Abbeyfield model. We are incorporated as non-profit Abbeyfield Riverside and we are partnered with Abbeyfield Canada (www.abbeyfield.ca)
We need Board and Committee members who share a commitment to our goal of healthy aging in place.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer will be engaged in a project of great value to the community. They will have the opportunity to work with other very committed volunteers who want to improve the housing options for seniors.
How will the organization benefit?
Abbeyfield Riverside consists of a small group of volunteers who face many tasks in the scope of this project. We need to consolidate a bigger Board and more Committee members to realize this project. We would be grateful for assistance in governance, administration, finance, communications and marketing.
