Abbeyfield Riverside is a non profit organization seeking to create a new Abbeyfield House in Ottawa. Our goal is to address the concerns of older adults by providing a solution that minimizes issues of loneliness, social isolation, and financial pressures while promoting independence and community connection. We need to strengthen our Board of volunteers to accomplish this mission. We are looking for persons with administrative and leadership experience, accounting and management skills, who are interested in giving back to the community. We welcome anyone who has an interest in being part of this project to create an option for housing seniors in a family like communal setting
