Description

I am pleased to invite you to consider applying for a position on the Board of Directors for Dermatology Awareness Group – Canada (DAG-C), a non-profit organization committed to advocating for the millions of Canadians living with skin conditions. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide education, and support skin patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups across Canada in their pursuit of better dermatological health.

We are not exclusively seeking individuals with experience in healthcare or dermatology. We are seeking individuals with diverse expertise who share our passion for improving the lives of Canadians. Your experience would be invaluable in helping us advance several key initiatives, including:

1. Advocacy & Outreach: Enhancing our efforts to influence public policy and healthcare practices.
2. Education & Awareness: Expanding our programs to educate the public, healthcare providers, and policymakers on the importance of dermatological health.
3. Fundraising & Development: Strengthening our financial base to support ongoing and future initiatives.
4. Strategic Planning: Guiding the long-term direction of our organization to ensure sustained impact.

If interested, please email me at [email protected]. I would be delighted to discuss this opportunity, our organization, and any other questions you may have.

Please note this position is only open to people residing in Canada.

Thank your consideration.
