Christie Lake Kids (CLK) is recruiting new members for our Board of Directors!

In a voluntary capacity, we are currently seeking Board Members to act in accordance with and in support of the mission, excellence, and viability of CLK. Board Members serve an expected commitment of a three-year term, with the possibility of two additional three-year extensions.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
CLK is a charitable organization, serving children and youth from low-income families in the Ottawa area for 100 years. We provide free year-round services to children ages 6-17 in the City of Ottawa, including afterschool programming and summer camp opportunities. As a Board Member of CLK, you will be part of a cornerstone of the Ottawa community and help offset the structural challenges affecting children and youth from low-income backgrounds. At CLK, you will find an opportunity to become leader of a rich and longstanding community.

The CLK Board of Directors, comprised of dedicated leaders from all sectors, is committed to CLKs organizational mission to offer quality programs that build skills and enrich lives. In addition to standard responsibilities, our Board members act as advocates and ambassadors for the organization. They are fully engaged and support the organization's efforts to advance its mission. The CLK Board strives to be a model of governance and leadership for the organization.
