The Education Foundation of Ottawa is seeking committed, engaged and passionate community members to serve on our Board of Directors. We are particularly interested in candidates with skills and experience related to strategic planning, finance, law, marketing and communications (including social media), fundraising, event planning, and/or Board leadership. The Education Foundation of Ottawa serves some of Ottawa's most vulnerable youth by ensuring they have what they need to succeed in school. Our Board members are a key component of our work. You can make a difference in the life of a child by being on our Board of Directors!
How will the organization benefit?
The Board of the Education Foundation of Ottawa seeks to be representative of the community it serves, and we encourage members of equity-seeking groups (e.g. persons with disabilities, members of racialized, Indigenous, and/or LGBTQ+ communities) to apply. Successful candidates will benefit the EFO by contributing in a meaningful way to help propel the organization forward.
