All volunteers at the Canadian Tulip Festival are Ambassadors!

We are looking for all types of volunteers, with all kinds of talents, to be a part of one of Canada’s most unique heritage festivals. The Festival runs May 10-20, where we will need the bulk of volunteers. We also require people May 8-9 and May 21-22 to assist with setting up and tearing down.

You can sign up for one shift, or many shifts – we appreciate all of the help you can give in order to keep this festival running successfully!

Volunteer opportunities include:

Green team: Point of Sales, Tulip Boutique, Flower Carts
Orange team: Park Shuttle, Golf Cart Shuttle, City Driving (G-license required)
Red team: Set Up & Tear Down, Park Safety (including road blocks), Line Management, General Park Help (Information Booth/Floaters, Kids Zone, etc)

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
All volunteers will have a sense of giving back to the community. With the Canadian Tulip Festival, volunteers also will be part of our unique heritage. We also sign off on high school community hours.
How will the organization benefit?
This event simply can not happen without the generous time given by volunteers.
Volunteer location:
Commissioners Park, Ottawa (Preston and Queen Elizabeth Driveway) (some opportunities will be available in the Byward Market as well)
