Help us share what’s happening in the Ottawa skateboarding community. As our Communications Volunteer, you’ll be the online voice for the Ottawa Skateboard Association, helping keep the community informed, and connected.
What You’ll Do:
Social Media Management: Take care of our social media accounts, like Instagram,. You’ll post updates, photos, and event announcements, reply to comments and messages, and keep the feed alive.
Content Creation: Work with our team to come up with content ideas—like spotlight posts on local skaters, “Did You Know?” skate facts, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of skatepark projects.
Newsletter Writing: Craft and send newsletters to share updates, upcoming events, and skate community news.
Time Commitment: Roughly 2-4 hours a month. Timing is flexible and can be done from home.
