Description
ReImagine Ottawa (RO) is seeking members for its Communications team. Training and mentoring will be provided.
Roles:
A) communications team lead (as an understudy; support provided) to coordinate a team to represent ReImagine Ottawa to the public through multiple channels including: RO website & social media channels and traditional media. Also, professionals are needed for:
· Writers for newsletters
· Writers and editors to support RO working groups
· A communications strategist / planner
· Social media volunteers
· Representatives from each of Ottawa’s wards to represent RO in their communities.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Candidates will join a small group of committed volunteers working with and advocating for and influencing the city of Ottawa in local governance about city development.
Joining offers knowledge and tools to engage in local governance and ways to influence city decisions.
How will the organization benefit?
Given the appropriate communication expertise and experience, ReImagine Ottawa stands to expand its outreach to the community through various means of traditional and social media.
