Description

The volunteer will help plan logistics for hosting a digital conference related to food, nutrition and public health. Previous experience organizing conferences, especially on-line event, is strongly preferred.
Please send a resume/cv by email and a short, approximately 200-word description of your interest and availability for helping to plan a spring event.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer will have the satisfication of helping a non-profit public health and food security organization achieve improvements to to laws and policies by organizing support for reforms at the conference.
How will the organization benefit?
The organization will recieve help organizing its 15th event, but only its third and, so far, most ambitious on-line event. The event will likely have no outside financial sponsors (and certainly no governement or corporate sponsors). There may be a nominal charge to attend the event or a pay what your can charge.
