The volunteer Director is expected to responsibly represent the OSO to their respective networks and communities, and to advocate for the OSO’s mission, vision, values and initiatives to support its continued operations and programming for the local community.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to provide advice and support to a lean organisation and its operational, governance and financial reporting requirements. Volunteers will frequently work with other board members and members of the community to create fundraising initiatives and community partnerships that promote and sustain the OSO’s mission of creating memorable musical experiences. This experience will provide many occasions to practice and/or sharpen skills in human resources, fundraising, and non-profit oversight.
