We are looking for a volunteer to work at our Nepean Distribution
Centre. If you are a passionate supporter of our Ottawa Public Library
and enjoy working in a team, then we’d like to hear from you.

About the Position:
Organization: Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA)
Commitment: 1 year
****Availability: Monday or Friday, 4 hours per week, 10:00 – 2:00****
Language Preference: English, bilingual
Number of Positions Available: 2
Type of Position: Volunteer position – no monetary compensation
Location: 100 Tallwood Drive Nepean

Required:

About the Organization:
The Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA) manages
five bookstores, more than 20 self-serve bookshelves, a central
Distribution Facility in Nepean, specialty monthly sales, and an online
used bookstore, kindreads.com. We are a volunteer-driven organization
that, since its inception in 2003, has donated more than $4.5 million
dollars to support Ottawa Public Library initiatives and programs. We
contribute to creating vibrant Ottawa communities through our advocacy
and outreach work.
