Description
We’re looking for a few drivers to help us out when there are donations to pick up or deliveries to be made to clients.
You’d be joining a team of drivers who have represent different areas of the city, and right now, we’re in need for someone to help us with our east end pickups/drop-offs. Volunteer drivers do not need to stick to that area, and if the opportunity presents itself and you can pickup in other areas, BONUS!
You’ll be working with our Driver Manager who will be in touch as pickups/drop-offs become available. Our storage unit is located near the Carlingwood area.
You must have a reliable mode of transportation, preferably a car as donations can often be trunk-fulls.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
You can rest assured that by volunteering in this role you are helping Ottawa's pet families. It's a really fulfilling feeling when you can deliver to them and see the true and appreciative impact.
How will the organization benefit?
This role has a huge impact on our organization and could be described as the heart of our team. Drivers make it so that we can get food directly into the hands of pet parents and families
