Volunteers Needed!

Feed The City is recruiting volunteers to join our incredible team. So we ask – can you help your community by volunteering as a Food Bank Delivery Driver?

Why volunteer with Feed The City?
*Flexible – Volunteer shifts go out for signup on a weekly basis so you can fit your volunteering around your busy schedule. Morning and afternoon weekday shifts are available to fit your schedule!
*Rewarding – Volunteering with Feed The City is a great way to give back to your community and make an impact directly.
*Contactless – Volunteer shifts are generally outdoors and contactless. Volunteer protocols are updated frequently to reflect current Public Health guidelines.

Volunteering with Feed The City is a fantastic way to help fight food insecurity in your own community. Volunteer opportunities are short (1-2 hours), flexible around your schedule, and most locations are entirely outdoors!

Individuals must have access to a vehicle for deliveries.

Rideau-Rockliffe
Vanier
Centretown area
Smyth Rd area
Orleans-Cumberland
Gloucester
Russell Heights

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will learn about community emergency food programs and food insecurity in Ottawa. Flexible schedule.
How will the organization benefit?
Providing a desperately needed delivery service for food agencies that don't otherwise have the capacity to get food to community members who can't physically visit.
