The Volunteer English as a Second Language (ESL) Conversation Circle Facilitator will support participants to practice conversational skills and connect socially. This is a virtual volunteer position.

Volunteer Responsibilities include the following:
-Based on feedback from program participants, plan and facilitate biweekly one-hour conversation circles using an online platform for a group of 2-6 people
-Correct errors in speaking during the conversation circles
-Answer any questions from participants
-Flag any issues with supervisor

We are looking for volunteers with the following experience:
– ESL tutoring experience is preferable
– Excellent English communication skills
– Excellent facilitation skills, with diverse Seniors
– A high degree of skill and experience with the use of online platforms (for example, Zoom)
– The ability to patiently support participants with language learning
– Computer and internet access
– Weekday/early evening availability
