We are looking for a compassionate individual to assist one of our tenants with learning English. This tenant’s first language is Arabic and has expressed a strong desire to improve her English speaking skills. The dedicated volunteer for this role will spend time with the tenant in the common space at one of our buildings and would have some previous experience providing language services in either a formal or informal capacity.
Applicants for this opportunity must be patient, friendly and compassionate, have the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong interpersonal and successfully complete the screening process as well we are looking for someone fluent in English and Arabic.
