About Serenity Renewal for Families:
Serenity Renewal for Families is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals and family members impacted directly or indirectly by addictions. We achieve this through various services we offer such as specialized family programs, short-term counseling sessions, adult educational workshops, as well as adult programs.

Position Details:
As a Family Program Facilitator, you will be a pillar of support in running our Strengthening Families Program. Your responsibilities will include assisting in educational sessions, facilitating group activities, and providing guidance and encouragement to families seeking to rebuild their lives. The experience you gain in this role will not only enhance your personal and professional development but also provide you with a deep sense of fulfillment.

Position Requirements:
– Experience with children: While not mandatory, some experience working with children is considered an asset. It can help you connect with and support families more effectively.
– Vulnerable Sector Check: We prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients. Therefore, all volunteers will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check before joining our team.
– Flexibility: Being available for occasional team meetings is essential for effective coordination and collaboration.

Time Commitment:
– This position requires availability on Saturdays during the daytime, as our Strengthening Families Program sessions primarily take place on weekends.
