FOCUS Youth is a youth led charitable organization committed to helping the youth find and sustain post secondary pathways as well as discover new opportunities for them to develop as students. As part of our Ottawa branch, volunteers will work as a team to organize, coordinate and market FOCUS led initiatives for Ottawa youth, as well as branch out within the community. Volunteers will be in charge of social media marketing, collecting, tracking and keeping funds, finding sponsors and other charitable organizations to collaborate wit, updating and upkeeping our website, and/or advertising our brand.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will get a unique opportunity to hone in on their interpersonal and administrative skills, no experience required. You'll be able to make connections and build relationships through team initiatives and networking. Most of our operations will be on an online platform, so volunteers won't need to spend resources on travel expenses. Volunteers can also use work experience within our organization as reference for post-secondary applications.

You'll be part of a team that'll support, advocate and empower Ottawa youth as well as build up FOCUS Youth Ottawa and its initiatives.
