With the support of the Ottawa Food Bank, Ottawa Cares works with volunteer delivery drivers to pickup food hampers (boxes) from local food banks for delivery to community members who are unable to physically pick up their boxes.
Volunteer shifts are contactless, flexible and rewarding. Weekly signups mean you choose your schedule!
Individuals must have access to a vehicle for this activity.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will learn about community emergency food programs and food insecurity in Ottawa.
How will the organization benefit?
Providing a delivery service for food agencies that don't othewise have the capacity to get food to commuity members who can't phycically visit.
