Description
We need volunteers who are comfortable visiting residents in long term care some of whom have dementia. The Volunteer will provide emotional support and companionship, do activities with older adults with varying cognitive abilities. We will take careful consideration when matching you to a senior. Training will be provided

This position helps to prevent loneliness and social isolation, allows maintenance of social skills; encourages a healthy mental health and contributes to positive stimulation.
