Leydi Campos Canadian Women’s Foundation Inc. an Ottawa-based charity dedicated to promoting Christianity among Hispanic and Canadian women, is seeking a passionate volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Details:
– Part-time role: 6 hours per week as a volunteer.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy and vision for the foundation.
– Manage and expand our donor base, focusing on private donors and community and other associations.
– Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events that reflect our commitment to the expansion of Christianity
– Utilize targeted communications, including social media, to enhance fundraising efforts and promote Christianity
– Work closely to align the work of the fundraising committee with that of the communications committee.
– Foster a culture of cooperation and teamwork.
– Bring new ideas and practices to fundraising efforts for the foundation.
Qualifications:
– Experience in nonprofit fundraising.
– Strong knowledge of the full range of fundraising best practices.
– Strong leadership skills to guide the fundraising committee effectively
– Ability to develop strategic fundraising plans
– Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with women, volunteers, staff.
– Proficiency in donor management systems/software and practices.
– Knowledge of social media and digital fundraising strategies.
– Ability to motivate and lead volunteers in a compassionate and respectful manner
– Basic understanding of fundraising data and reporting metrics
