Leydi Campos Canadian Foundation Inc. is an Ottawa-based charity dedicated to providing Christian spiritual direction and guidance among Hispanic and Canadian women, is seeking a passionate volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Details:
– Part-time role: 6 hours per week as a volunteer.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy and vision for foundation.
– Manage and expand our donor base, focusing on private donors, community associations and others.
– Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events that reflect our commitment to expanding the gospel
– Utilize targeted communications, including social media, to enhance fundraising efforts and promote Christianity
– Work closely to align the work of the fundraising committee with that of the communications committee.
– Foster a culture of cooperation and teamwork.
– Bring new ideas and practices to the foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Qualifications:
– Experience in nonprofit fundraising.
– Strong understanding of the full range of fundraising best practices
– Ability to develop strategic fundraising plans
– Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with residents, volunteers and staff.
– Proficiency in systems/software and donor management practices.
– Knowledge of social media and digital fundraising strategies.
– Ability to motivate and lead volunteers in a compassionate and respectful manner
– Basic understanding of fundraising data and reporting metrics
