Position Overview:

As the Fundraising Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to coordinate and execute fundraising initiatives for the Ottawa Skateboard Community Association. This role involves identifying potential donors and stakeholders, leading fundraising events, and developing partnerships to support our mission. Our organization has a lot of connections within our community willing to lend a hand, and we have ample experience in the past with fundraising, and are able to support this person.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Initiatives: Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
Donor Engagement: Identify, communicate, and build relationships with potential donors and sponsors.
Goal Setting: Collaborate with the board of directors to set and achieve annual fundraising goals (approximately $3,000 per year).
Progress Monitoring: Provide regular updates to the board, analyze fundraising efforts, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience in fundraising or event planning is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Passion for community development.
