Gala Procurement Volunteer
Description
Position Duties:
Procurement of auction items from local Ottawa businesses as well as business outside of the Greater Ottawa area
Contacting businesses via email, phone and in-person visits to procure items for the auction at the Gala. This includes but is not limited to, following up with the businesses and picking up the donated items.
Closer to the time of the Gala (November 2022) it will be required to package these items together and get them ready to the Gala.
Maintain quality of work
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Ability to work with a team or independently
Self-starter and driven
Experience with sales/asking for donations
Eagerness to promote Habitat Greater Ottawa in the community and visit businesses in person
Driver’s License and access to a car is an asset
