We advocate for a network of safe, clean and accessible public toilets in Ottawa. Our activities include raising public awareness (participating in community events, use of social media, pop up advocacy actions, postering), lobbying city officials (councillors, planning staff, presenting at committee meetings), research (existing models around the world, costing, relevant legislation and bylaws, etc.), pilot projects (testing various models in Ottawa), updating website,

Learning about how to advocate for a cause (that is non-partisan, & has wide public support), how to raise public awareness, work with dedicated team of volunteers, opportunities for creative ideas, learning how to lobby city officials, etc.
