About Serenity Renewal for Families:
Serenity Renewal for Families is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals and family members impacted directly or indirectly by addictions. We achieve this through various services we offer such as specialized family programs, short-term counseling sessions, adult educational workshops, as well as adult programs.

Position Overview:
Serenity Renewal for Families is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Hybrid Moderator for our adult educational workshops. As a Hybrid Moderator, you will play a crucial role in assisting the facilitator during the workshops, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for participants both in-person and online.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support
– Proficient in Zoom, OWL Labs, Digital Whiteboard, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
– Assist in setting up and managing virtual components to ensure a smooth online experience.
– Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during workshops.
Room Setup
– Prepare the physical workshop space by arranging clipboards with feedback forms and providing paper for notes.
– Set up the laptop for Zoom and PowerPoint presentations.
– Ensure that refreshments are available and set up for participants.
– Distribute facilitator’s hand-outs to participants.
After Workshop
– Pack up all materials and collect all feedback forms, and clipboards.
– Throw away any garbage in the room.
– Drop off materials back in the office.
Qualifications:
– Strong knowledge of technology, including Zoom (know how to use breakout rooms) , OWL Labs Camera, Digital Whiteboard, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
– Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in the context of virtual and in-person settings.
– Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to supporting the smooth operation of workshops.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.

Time Commitment:
This is a volunteer position with a flexible time commitment, typically requiring attendance during scheduled workshops and some pre-event preparation.
