Job Description
The Information Technology Support Volunteer maintains current software platforms used at HWF, including Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Canva, Squarespace, and CanadaHelps; acts as a consultant to the Board, offering expertise and guidance on technical issues; suggests and evaluates IT-based approaches to support HWF modernization.

Essential Qualifications:
• Ability to install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, etc.
• Knowledge of business software systems including email, storage, networking
• A technical, logical thought process
• Communication skills (written and oral)
• Inter-personal skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Responds promptly to requests for assistance
• Collaboration skills
• Flexibility
• English or French proficiency
• Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, etc.
• Maintains HWF Google Workspace: creates & manages accounts, groups; manages shared drives
• Maintains and manages the website (Squarespace) and domain (
• Maintains and manages Mailchimp, Canva, CanadaHelps platforms
• Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
• Tests new technology before it is rolled out across HWF
